Materials & Formulation
Are your products all natural?
Relics fragrances are mixed-media formulas made with botanical materials, including essential oils and absolutes, as well as aroma molecules. All formulas are IFRA-compliant and safe for use on skin when used as directed.
Are your fragrances vegan?
It depends on the formula. If you have a question about a specific release, email contact@relicsfragrance.com and we will be happy to assist you.
Releases
What does fixed run mean?
A fixed run means a release is produced in a set quantity.
Will a fragrance return?
A work may return. It is never promised.
What if I want to purchase the product again?
As long as the run still exists, you are welcome to purchase another bottle. Once the run is complete, the fragrance will not be available again unless The Good Thief brings it back out of the archive. If that happens, past collectors will receive early access before the re-release is offered publicly.
What happens when a release sells out?
Once a release sells out, it returns to the archive.
Why 30 ml?
Relics uses 30 ml bottles because the format fits the release system. Each work is produced in a fixed run, and 30 ml keeps the object intimate, collectible, and usable without turning it into standard fragrance inventory.
Relics
What is Relics?
Relics is an independent perfume archive releasing finished works from The Good Thief.
Who is The Good Thief?
The Good Thief is the perfumer behind Relics.
Why does the perfumer go by The Good Thief?
The Good Thief is a name about taking and returning. The work begins by taking from life: memory, material, place, nature, pain, and beauty. What returns is perfume.
What is the studio archive?
The studio archive is the work kept: formulas, studies, records, trials, and finished fragrances from The Good Thief's studio.
How should I store my fragrance?
Store your bottle away from heat, sunlight, and humidity.
